This policy explains what data is involved when you use Speedcade, in plain language. The short version: we run no accounts and no backend, your scores never leave your device, and the only third parties involved are advertising (Google AdSense) and, if enabled, privacy-first analytics (Cloudflare).
Data we store on your device
Your personal bests and your theme preference (dark or light) are saved in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and is deleted if you clear your browser's site data. We cannot see, recover or transfer it.
Data we collect ourselves
None. Speedcade has no user accounts, no sign-up, no comment system and no server-side database. We don't collect names, email addresses or profiles. If you email us, we see your address and message like any email recipient, and we use it only to reply.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to show ads, which keeps the site free. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads:

Analytics
For traffic measurement we may use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless and privacy-first: it counts page views and basic technical information (browser type, country, referrer) without fingerprinting you, tracking you across sites, or building an advertising profile. It cannot identify you personally.

Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Because we don't collect or hold personal data ourselves, there is no Speedcade database to access, correct or delete. For data processed by Google in connection with advertising, the controls above (My Ad Center, consent choices) are the effective way to exercise your preferences. If you are in the EEA, UK or California and have a privacy question or request, email us and we will help or point you to the right place. We do not sell personal information.
Children
The site's games are suitable for general audiences. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children; there is simply no mechanism on the site that asks for it.
